ChristianMusicWeekly.com announces Radio Singles Download Area

This is a pilot project, with separate areas for each format CMW serves. No cost to radio, but they must apply for a userid and password. Reports to CMW can already use their existing userids and passwords from the reporting site. This area is controlled access.

  1. promoter must supply 160kbps version of MP3
  2. promoter must supply an additional 15 second edit for audition in MP3, which we will convert to real audio
  3. promoter must supply artist or album graphic exactly 151x148 pixels
  4. promoter must pre-pay minimum monthly cost in advance.  We accept paypal.
  5. reviews, if they are included, can only be from published CMW reviews.
  6. if a song has fewer than a minimum number of downloads in a month, CMW reserves the right to remove the single at its own discretion, after the month completes.
  7. CMW does no promotion, but it will add a userid of any bona fide radio programmer who requests one at info@christianmusicweekly.com
  8. all decisions and determinations by CMW, its advisory boards, etc. are final.
  9. By submitting the song, submitter verifies that he has the publisher's right to post the song for radio download.

Introductory Pricing

We're trying to make this cost effective compared to manufacturing and mailing CDs. In addition, a song is available instantly and this can save days getting your song into the hands of radio.

These introductory prices are subject to change on 30-days notice.

  1. Cost per download: $1
  2. Minimum cost per month: $15
  3. Setup costs, converting audition to MP3, but no editing, resizing graphic: presently free
  4. Professional costs, creating graphics, normalizing single, editing, etc. When required: $95/hr

ChristianMusicWeekly will NOT discriminate against any artist or single, however only CMW published reviews can be used on the download site. Monthly minimum payment must be received in advance.  Additional download charges must be paid within 10 days of the end of the month they are incurred. Failure to pay will result in the immediate removal of song and a blacklisting on the site. Any song that does not achieve a minimum number of downloads in a given month may be removed at the discretion of CMW, although payment for the time it was up is still due. The minimum download count, for now stands at 5.
